SignalOS
Draft — pending legal review. This states what the product actually does today and is written so legal counsel has an accurate starting point. It is not a binding contract.

Billing Disputes

If a charge looks wrong, the fastest way to fix it is to tell us. This page says what we do, and what happens if you go to your bank instead.

Talk to us first

Use the contact form and say which charge you mean. It reaches us directly. We aim to reply within one business day — an intention, not a guaranteed service level — and we refund genuine billing errors in full as soon as we confirm them. Contact us.

This helps you more than it helps us: a bank dispute usually takes 30 to 90 days to resolve, where we can usually fix the same problem the day you tell us about it.

If you do file a dispute

  • We record it against your account as soon as the card network notifies us.
  • We respond to the card network with your account records: when you signed up, the terms in force at the time, every invoice and receipt, the emails we sent you and whether they were delivered, and what you actually used — measurements run and reports generated.
  • We do not pursue you for a disputed amount. We would rather lose the money than the relationship.
  • We may decline to sell to an account that leaves a dispute unresolved.

What we can show

Usage is the strongest evidence either way, and it cuts both directions: if the record shows a service you never used, that is on us. The same export is available to you on request.

Things we do so this comes up less

  • Charges appear as SIGNALOS.XONIK on your statement, so they are recognisable.
  • We email before a renewal — seven days ahead monthly, thirty for annual — with the amount, the date, the card and a one-click cancel.
  • Every charge gets a receipt with the plan, the period and a link to the invoice.
  • Cancelling is two clicks and needs no conversation, and a refund shows its calculated amount before you confirm.

What still needs real legal drafting

A chargeback is governed by the card networks' rules and the agreement between you and your bank — nothing on this page changes those rights, and it is not an attempt to. How disputes interact with our terms, and in which jurisdiction, needs real counsel.
